my wife wants a car we can hot rod.

she has her expectations and i told her it has to be mopar.

she wants a 40's to 50's looking car
has to have fins and lotsa chrome.
needs backseat for the buba
convertible would be ideal but no biggie

her plan is to chop it lower it, paint it a dull pastel colour and have whiteinterior, i said it definetly needs a hemi haha.

she likes the christine belvedere or early chrysler 300 what other cars aresimiliar to this?

let me know what you guys thoughts are???

Just messin around...No Sweat. Sounds like a cool project.

Myself I always liked the 1960 Dart Pioneer for a mopar winged Street Rod, but getting tough to find them...

Hate to say it....Mopar god's will be pissed, but if I could hand pick to build a street rod it would probably be a 1940 Ford, 1956 Fairlane, 1958 Impala or a Willy's Coupe before the Dart. But if it had to be Mopar..the 1960 Pioneer

there you go

benno, i could be persuaded out of this one. and if the price was right you might have a boat. :headbang:

LOL prop. this is the third year i haven't had it in the water. i just tuned it up and will sell it in the spring. they call this area around here the pickerel capital of north america, google this, "bay of quinte". problem is i wouldn't eat one out of there. this boat is the smallest one i have had, 24ft big block, the others were twins. my book-keeper at work cracked off about fuel savings in the summer. lol lol

what type of car is that one shag? how much you looking for?

cool 50's style Mopars, 46 Plymouth, 56 Fury, 57 Belvedere, 57 Savoy, 58 Fury, 59 Plymouth, 59 DeSoto, 61 Newport, 41 Ply.Woody, any wouldmake a cool toy/rod, I don't know about the chopping any of them thou, most have allot of chrome & some even big fins, all are going to be tough to find anymore, some very expensive too, some will be dirt cheap also... Good Luck sounds like your wife is a keeper for sure...
