orig. vs repro 69 RR grill

Just wondering how the new reproduction grills and headlight bezel compare to the originals?

I just bought mine from Mega Parts,$400.00.made in China,the fit is very good but the metal is way thinner than the oem,heres a pic,I am happy with it,good driver quality but not show class

So has anyone had one restored ? I had my 64 redone, and it's like New. It all most seems a 69 grill would cost more to do. I have a very nice one to start with, but guessing 12_1500 to have it redone. 400 for a repro sounds fair if it holds up. My son got some repro stuff for his Chevelle,and it turned white in just a few months. I keep saying grill, but also headlight bezels too of course.

Has anyone know how the 70 GTX grills are??
They are plastic like originals but wonder if they are as nice.

I don't have one, but Year One has a 69-RR GTX Belvedere Satellite Grille & Bezels, Reproduction Replacement $600+, it's more money than the Chinese stamped Mega Parts USA cheaper ones are, I don't know where it's made or how thick or thin, that the material it is either... but another option thou... I've had good luck with allot of the reproduction stuff from Year One, mostly interior stuff, but never had to get a grille thou, quality has been really good, for a reproduction parts company, but their shipping & customer service isn't the best, discounts on parts are usually, all discount exempt on everything I seem to need, just be patient if you order from them....

I have a repo grille on my 69 RR and it looks fine.
