Decoding the fender tag shows my 1967 R/T should have a black and gold interior. The previous owner put some black interior from what might be a Coronet 440. I am thinking about going back to the factory black and gold interior. Is the black and gold interior rare? I don't recall ever seeing one. How much is supposed to be gold? Seats and door panels? What about seatbelts?

Thanks in advance.

I've seen a couple on ebay like that.
I think the metal on the door is gold and the panel is black.
Not sure about the rest.

I may be interested in your black seat covers if you want to get rid of them.

I could not find any info on the above site that gives the door panel, dash, headliner or seat belt colors. I suspect that this section of the library for the Dealer Color and Upholstery Book is incomplete as that info should be available from this source.

Hi, thanks for the info. I had already seen these on the hamtrack-historical site. That is a great resouce. I had never seen this color combo and was trying to get an idea of what it looked like and how rare it is. I did order a color swatch of the material and it is really gold.

Bump!
I decided to go ahead, bite the bullet, and order a new interior in the original color for the car. I assumed that Legendary would know what a black and gold interior should look like for a 1967 Coronet, but they are asking me if the rear panels should be all gold, or if the rear panels should be gold with black on the bottom part...
Does anyone know if a car with a two tone interior should have black on the bottom of the interior panels?
Regards,
Ken
