Putting my dash back in and I noticed the paint around the gauges is looking pretty bad. So what is the best way to paint for someone with not the steadiest of hands?

Also, what type of paint do you use and what color?

Mine looks to be silver, so I was thinking of using modeler's silver paint.

Talking about the paint the beauty rings around the gauges.

I've used the paint pens before too. You can get em at Office Max, Wal*Mart, Michael's, craft and/or hobby stores.
They're fun. After you get done with your dash you can use it to tag all your stuff.

Originally it was chrome. In an earlier thread I stated that I used a silver paint pen from Office Max.

This. I've been using a Testor's Silver paint pen for this very thing for years.

I've used the Testor's Silver paint pen for minor touch ups as well but I used silver metallic hobby paint in a bottle for the larger areas such as the trim around the dashboard.
