V1F = green vinyl top
GY4 = Light gold

Thanks. Car almost looks yellow.Even in spots that were never painted. Is the gold a bright color. What does the shade look like. The help on this site is teriffic.

Go to mymopar.com under the paint chip tab. It will show you the colors for your car.

Be advised that the paint chips (like on the PPG charts from the paint and body supply stores) for the "gold" colors in 73/74-ish years are NOWHERE NEAR the actual color of the cars.

The chip for my JY3 "honey gold" Charger is a metallic light gold.

The car (still in it's original paint) is not even percievable as metaillic, and much closer to yellow with a hint of butterscotch.

That being said, the formula on the chip sample chart is correct.

I had a pint mixed up locally, and it was dead on for the car, despite not looking anything like the chip.
