I am going to pick up some paint today and wanted some suggestions/Ideas on what to get.
The grill 1968 GTX is this correct?
LIGHT ARGENT TEXTURED

Ingredients for 1 pint (double for quart)
1/2 ounce DX 204- Radiance Silver
1/2 ounce DDL 8568- Non Smudge Aluminum/aluminum base
3 1/2 ounces DCA 468 High Performance Clear

Add 4 ounces of top grade lacquer thinner with drying time according to temperature. Mix thoroughly and pour in 1 pint touch up gun. Use 10 clean 1/4" ball bearings in paint cup to keep the paint mixed. Use three light coats over an existing finish or four to six coats over unfinished parts. This paint runs VERY easily, allow 5-10 minutes between coats.

MEDIUM ARGENT TEXTURED

The steps are exactly as above, but add black lacquer to darken. Start with six drops per pint and stir thoroughly, then spray a sample to compare to the original finish. Add a drop at a time until you achieve the correct tint.

Also for the headlight rings What black should I use?
Flat black, Gloss black or?

Thanks

I have read that the Totally Auto is not the correct one and people have problems with the nozzle. So at this point I am trying to avoid this route for now.
I called PPG today and was told DX 8555 is not available and he did not have anything to cross reference it to. He did say that DNA 8933 is still available just drop the DNA and use 8933. I also tied to get any reference to these #'s DX 204, DDL 8568 and DCA 468 he couldn't come with anything a seemed like he was starting to get agitated by the call. So I asked for a local PPG dealer here in Vegas and he did give me a # and The sales rep James was pretty cool. He did mix me some paint but it looks a little to dark for the Light argent and to light for the dark argent. Unfortunately my grill looks like it was sprayed at some point with a flat black and we could not come up with a match for a textured paint. So I will this weekend spray it and see what happens. I can always remove it and start over. James said he will work with me and try his best to get as close as possible. I was just at Year one and they show a quart of the argent and they want $189.99 plus shipping, but then you read the small print

c/p from year one "This light argent siver textured paint allows you to recreate the factory finish. Sold in a 15-oz spray can"
(Am I reading this right)?

Here is the part # from Year One QP8575 if anyone else wants to look at it..
