Would like to know what tool/method has been used to remove the panel/fender molding off our cars. This especially pertains to the molding that starts from the doors to the J molding. Thanks.

I have several styles of these. Also metal and "plastic" styles. Any suggestions? Picture of what tool you liked best?I carefully used trim removal tools and pried the peak mouldings up. Clips came with them.

Actually I had some 1/4 inch polypropylene sheet material, cut a piece about 1/4 inch wide and 6 inches long. Thinned the ends down like a flat blade screwdriver. Slid them under the trim and gently pried them up, sometimes i would twist the tool. Also tried to locate the clips and pry there.I have several styles of these. Also metal and "plastic" styles. Yep, a great reference book. Found mine online.I was just posting pictures of the clips that are used for each moulding. So you can either wiggle the moulding lose or a clip tool. Or un bolt from the back. The little book is handy. I got it with my car .
