Part ident. help please

I have this part I got as a part of a lot buy. I checked my books but could not find itin any of my books up to 1973. Looks like part of an A/C system, but I am not sure. Part number is 3848627.Thanks in advance for any help.

it apears to be a presure cut out switch.should be two prongs under your blue cap.
