Apparently I am missing the black plastic molding that is located between the top of the grill and the hood hinge. It is about 3' long and has a slight angle in it. The 3 round plastic pins hold it down. Can anyone tell me what it is called so I can look for one?

Any chance of a picture of where it goes? And the model of car etc.

Sorry. 1970 B body.

You need either a centre section of the grille, or just the plastic push buttons that hold it in place. The black piece on top of the centre section is not a separate part.

Yep, these guys are correct. It's the top of the center grill section for a '70 Plymouth b-body.

Got it. Thanks!

Now I see. The previous owner had this part shoved "under" the metal frame. Duh.
