Passon A-855 for B Body

I love mine!
:bananadance:

Changed the Track Pack 3.54s to 4.10s in the Dana 60 once I got that .70 overdrive 5th gear. Still dropped 750 RPM in 5th w/4.10 vs 3500 in 4th w/3.54 at about 72 MPH and 1st through 4th are GREAT.
That 750 RPM makes a bigger difference than 750 may seem. Much quieter engine, greater peace of mind.

I'll be calling Monday for the waiting list. I'm suprised this forum doesn't have a thread for posting deliveries and wait times or at least a count of how many come out and how long it took. The info on them is scattered at best. Heck, as a new guy I didn't know it existed and found the info by accident. Seems like the cats butt

How much do they cost?

Around $5,600 give or take...
If I had another 3 pedal Mopar, I'd pay another $5,600 for a 2nd a855 from Jamie Passon.
It's the only way not to cut up your Mopar.
If you don't mind carving up the transmission Xmember or tunnel, then a TKO600 or other such transmission may be fine.
In my case, I don't care that much about altering the sheetmetal, but I'd rather not cut the transmission brace and anyway, I wanted to support Passon for having the knowledge and balls to put himself out there for MOPAR!
The 700 continuous ft lbs of torque rating is important to me, and it is has an exceptional design and materials.

I've been on his waiting list for 5 years and still don't have one. Jamie Passon has had massive supplier issues who were not making parts to his liking (and yes, they were US made but problematic, according to him). So his deliveries on these are S L O W.

Having said that, Jamie Passon is a great, stand up guy and I am staying on his waiting list. The A855 is a great design and I'd still love to put one in my car.

You should, and I am glad that you are.
Have you stayed up to date with the latest updates? There have been some changes as of about 2-3 months ago.

I have not. Any details you can share? Thanks

I've read B Body delivery isn't as bad. What variety have you been waiting on for 5 years?
An A855 5 speed from Passon Perforance.

My best advice is to check with Jamie Passon and go by what he tells you.
Email or text.
Last time I checked with him was at Carlisle, when he told me of his supplier issues. I will contact him again soon - sometimes the squeaky wheel gets the grease...
