Any company better than the other for quality of their transmissions and 4 speed parts. Thanks

I guess it really comes down to personal preference. So I will give you mine.
I can 100% tell you that Brewers Performance is a top shelf family run company.
I have used them several times through the years with GREAT service. I have also bought and sold them parts and they have always done exactly what they said they would do. There customer service is second to none IMO. That's hard to find in todays world.
My vote is Brewers all the way! Can't go wrong with Wayne or Dan Brewer when it comes time for your Mopar 4 speed needs they both have a ton of 1st hand knowledge.

X 2 on Brewers. Very good to deal with.

X3 on Brewer's
I have known them since 1984!
So, reputation over the decades has lasted...

I've boughten quite a bit from Brewers. Always top quality and their customer support is excellent.

Passon. 4 years to market.

I have spoken to both on the phone and they were both very helpful. Passon being in driving distance to me, I decided to go with him. Drove out to his shop with an A-833 I planned on using in my 4 speed conversion. He opened it up to inspect it for me and found 2 broken gears that I did not pick up on. I traded it in as a core with him and got a date-correct , rebuilt unit for a great price. The install was delayed, so can't tell you how good the unit is, but it is under warranty. Jamie totally knew his stuff and was easy to deal with, so I would say you can't go wrong with him.

been using Brewers since way back and will again.

I have bought parts from Passon as well as supplying him with lots of cores in trade for more parts I needed. A couple of times he would just send me what I needed in advance knowing that we agreed I would send him gears, etc.. in trade. If he didn't like something we would discuss it and come up with a reasonable solution. The parts that I said were good he also found good upon inspection so we are seeing the same thing. All around positive experience with Passon. I have bought Hurst shifter parts from Brewer and no issues but that's not much data to go by.

I've dealt with Brewers several times. Good prices, great service and very willing to share their expertise.

Passon is over on Moparts explaining why it will be a few years til anyone gets a transmission. Queue up the grandchildren.

I don't know why you have it in for Passon and keep harping on the delays in production for his A833OD. He's a small outfit not a massive company with deep pockets to ramp up a major production line. Aside from those delays, I haven't heard anyone say anything negative about him.

Under promise, over deliver. He does neither. The thread started years ago. How long can you wait for a transmission? I'd rather miss third sometimes with the Keisler than run over 4 grand on the freeway. Good product, (Passon) poor business plan.

Dennis let it go man. He could have just told the Mopar people to go screw themselves and to keep on trying to cram a TKO or T-56 into there cars. So it took Jamie 4 years to release his tranny. Would you have been happier if he sold a piece of crap tranny that blew up behind 200hp? Ya he is not mass-producing them. Oh well better than nothing. Don't see anyone else stepping up to the plate.

As for the OP's question, both are good people to deal with.

It may take Jamie time to bring a product to market, but when it's ready, it will be right, and he stands behind it. I've never delt wiuth Brewers, but never heard any bad about them.
