I am getting oil squirting to underside of hood on 340 above PCV valve. Only happens if I drive more than 5-10 highway miles. Short trips around town don't leak at all. PCV valve is good. I have a breather with hose to air cleaner base on other side.

It's not a lot of oil. Probably a half ounce, but it is concerning. I am going to do a leakdown test in the next few days to check rings, etc. but...

If I run breathers instead of a PCV (multiple people have told me to just use a breather), do I keep the breather-to-air cleaner set up OR do I eliminate air cleaner hose breather set up and run two regular breathers?

Stock Valve covers ? Aftermarket ? You may want to try a pre-breather breather cap.Works with both. Autozone part# 8078. I install it first and then install the PCV into the breather cap.(The black one)
You can see it in the photo. I know you have a V8, but I learned this from the Slant Six web.You may have other problems but wanted to pass this along.

Maybe ur air cleaner breather is plugged or baffle broke loose below PCV?
