I was reading an article the other day about a PCV valve a company has developed. http://mewagner.com/ It got me to thinking. A few weeks ago I was playing around with my '64 Polara with a 383 (playing hard), I got back to the shop opened the hood and noticed the PCV was laying on top of the valve cover. I can't say for sure, but I'm assuming it was properly installed, but blew out when I was at higher RPM's. This article got me to thinking that maybe my valve is undersized. I haven't done a leak down check on the motor, but with the PCV removed there doesn't seem to be a lot of blow by. I was wondering what you guys use for a PCV in your cars. Currently I have a generic NAPA valve in mine. Was there a different size valve for the 440 as compared to the 383. The Wagner valve is intriguing, but pretty expensive.
