I noted on the early intro that the vehicles were provided by Ford. I believe they finally cast them aside for Mopars. I always remembered them in a 1971 Butterscotch Challenger RT convertible.

IIRC, there were no convertibles after 71, so the show had a 72-3 front end put on a 71.

Correct. I was at home one day many years ago and that episode was playing on a re-run. I was glued to the screen, and was not able to record it in time. I ended up finding that season on DVD on ebag.

Same here, kiwi! I think I first caught that rerun in the '90s after my '70 GTX was long gone. Then I did have it saved on my DVR about 10 years ago until that POS DVR took a ****.
