[Basket case]

anyone had any dealings with them. I'm looking at one of their hoods. $100 cheaper than AAR, and I can get the hood picked up saving the $150 shipping. The underside of theirs looks as good as the AAR.

Usually you get what you pay for, cheaper usually isn't better, I haven't used any of their products though, just my sick logic coming out....

Those are good prices, I wonder what the weight of the parts are ??, if they are flimsy race weight ??, or heavy duty street parts ??, example $400 for a 69 RR pin on 6bbl hood $400 plus shipping or $500 for hinged, is cheap, I paid $795 for the accurate reproduction of an A12 hood & $150 I think for shipping, plus a bunch more for the proper style rear brackets, pins & lanyards from Year One, $1000+ total for everything, 5+ years ago now...

If you can have it picked up you could tell them what to look for maybe take a couple of pictures and send it to you before you buy one.. Might help. It isint very often i don't try to get reviews if there put at the site and see what others have to say.. But sometimes reviews can be one sided.. good luck with it, 100 bucks cheaper is a good thing as long as things work out with it..
