Hello, i have to re-create my quarters on my 62 belv.. problem is i have no idea what they looked like from the factory as mine have paid the michigan road gods by dissolving themselves in honor of snow removal.. I was hoping someone could post some pics of their quarters in front of the rear tires, need a good shot of the lip and inner wheel well area the lip is attached too.. (a measurement of how far the lip stands out from the body (front of the wheel well) wouldn't hurt either..

Thanks guys..

You could try Sherman's in Detroit for the wheel arch patch. I think Summit also carries some of their stuff.

Far as i can tell no one makes anything for a 62, i found some rear patches (i can make those easy) off a 4door and the place wants $650 per side.

A cardboard template of the wheel opening sure wouldn't hurt.

Mine. The rear axle is moved back an inch.

33, thanks a ton :) Just a quick question, in front of the tire, does that lip flare out all the way down or go flat bout 4inches from the bottom? Back of the quarter isn't an issue, my passenger one is intact so i can copy it.. in front of the tire on both sides are just gone..

Give me a bit, I can get a better shot, but yeah, it tapers down to almost no flare at the front, compared to the back.
Edit: that's burnout rubber behind the tire, not rust bubbles, lol.

thanks, yeah, on the gray it's hard to see is all :)

More. The last two are the front drivers side.
The taper starts about six inches from the bottom. Basically about 3/4" wide/ 3/4 deep at the bottom of opening.

Thanks much! that should be enough to get me started :)

One last thing (just got home and started working on it... Need to know the measurement where the inner lip turns at the bottom, the space from it to the back of the rocker to where the lip bends to meet the quarter if you could.. no need to pull the slick, just an idea so i get it close. Also, how far does the inner wrap around with the quarter? there is a rocker seam (vertical) on the rocker, does it go all the way to that? thanks again... surprised no one else owns a 62 here :)
Here's a pic to show what i'm working with..
P.S. still considering scraping the car.. but gonna work on it til it gets better or i say screw it :)

Just got back from the vet, and it's 116° here.
I will get you a duplicate shot to yours in the morning.
