I have the original style arms on my car and picked up a set of OEM style blades. What holds them on, can't find any pins on either.

Ok, what holds the wiper blades on the arms????

If you are looking to use a re-fill there is a little red tip you push in on the blade and it releases the re-fill

I have new refills and know how to change them but my question is "what holds the wiper blade assembly to the wiper arm" There is a small hole in the wiper blade assembly and another in the wiper arm, is there a small screw that goes in there to keep the blade assembly from coming off the arm?

I will have to look at the pair I just removed from my project car and let you know what I find.

Here are some pics Bob.This is the drivers side wiper. Hope this helps.

The end of my wiper arm has a hole in it roughly 1/8" in diameter. By looking at the wiper arm it appears that at one time there may have been a pin, much like the one on the you push in to install a refill. There is no dimple like the one shown in the photo. There is a small flat spring in the pivot that would have acted as a capture point for the pin on the end of the arm...
make sense???

What is the part number for the Anco refills?
The parts guys here can't look it up.

The part number is LP-16, they are NOS.

I will have to post a few photos of what I have. I am at a loss as to what I need to find or do. Thanks for the photos!

While NOS stuff is great, I saved a few bucks by buying some cheap modern wipers, took off the blade, cut it to size and put it on my original wiper arms, and they work perfect and look NOS, best thing was I spent 6 bucks and I got this advice from my grandpa, old guys rule, lol!!

The wiper blade refills were NOS because they are no longer available. Everything else is just used parts.

if they are like the ones from the 63 Polara pic I posted they have a rivet that goes through the blade to the mount. I sacrificed one that was mostly junk to see if i could get it apart. we need pics of yours Red to help us understand your problem so we may offer some help

I am thinking I have a mismatched set. The end of the arm has no type of fixture, just a slight bend and a small hole. The hole may have been for a rivet but the mounting part is long gone and both the left and right are the same as far as the hole is concerned.
