Hey guys,

I need a little help with figuring out the pinion angle on my 69 Coronet. This is what has been done: weld in sub-frame connectors, front and rear torque boxes, XHD leaf springs, A833 transmission, 8.75 rearend (489) 3.55:1, Bilstein non adjustable shocks, 500" wedge (600HP/600TQ).

The only change from stock that I made was using front spring hangers from Mancini's. They are the type that have two holes, one for stock position (bottom) and one for lowering the car approx. 1 inch (top). After I got the suspension together, I realized that the pinion angle was not sitting correctly as this moved it up (toward the bottom of the car). I have shims to correct the angle, I'm just not sure what the appropriate angle would be.

Any advise on setting this up would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Bill.

I Had The Same Problem With My '65 Plymouth Regarding The Pinion Angle. Super Stock Springs Came From Mancini Also. Rob Is Right When He Said 5-7 Degrees Pinion Downnose. Mine Came In At 7!
