I have seen different answers to this, so I ask: Do I need a pinion snubber on a 1972 RR with built 340/727/8 3/4 3.91 with stock leaf springs and Bilstein shocks that will only be street driven?

I'd say yes. If you ever decide to romp on it, it will be there to keep the rear from winding up.

By the way I need one for my 8 3/4 !

if you need original 8 3/4 snubbers I have several just PM me

Get an adjustable pinion snubber from American Muscle, Mancini carries them. They are way better than stock and the adjuster is threaded so you can dial it in.

Yes, you need a pinion snubber. The stock ones are worthless. Aftermarket ones are cheap & work.
