pistol grip shifter in a 69 RR?

I know it's not stock...that being said, is there anyone that has made the switch to a pistol grip shifter? Thinking that'd be a nice change in my 69 bench seat 4spd...I loved the one I had in my 'Cuda. just wondering if there are adapters needed.

Here's mine in the car. I had idlehandswoodwork make me a custom handle in tiger maple dyed hemi orange. I'll be keeping the wood inserts but still have the ones it came with.

Yep, a non-console '70 pistol grip will bolt right up...no modification needed.

I'm putting a console 70 pistol grip in my 67 GTX. No shifter feels like a hurst pistol grip.

I love the look of the pistol grip with the Tuff wheel. Thinking of putting the Tuff wheel in my 70 RR, both for the look and smaller diameter.

I have one in mine. the non console bench style.

Yes I have the adapter and it's same 69 to 70.
