I sent my old steering box to firmfeel to get firmed up and was hoping they would install the old pitman arm on the new box but didnt. My steering shop said they would not install the armon the new box without any reference points. Cant see anything on the box. How do i go about this. Thanks

Make sure you have the steering wheel centered (same amount of turns lock to lock). There is a master spline on the arm and the box (might be 4...brain is fuzzy) line those splines up, lock washer, nut, tighten to spec, go driving.....in a nut shell.

Any way to do it without the steering column in the car. The box is sitting on my bench in the shop

Gotta check lock to lock to get the pitman arm centered. That will get ya in the ballpark with the steering wheel.
