Has anyone had any experience of these that someone is selling in the for sale section. What are the originals made off and are they available for a 70 RR

thx

I sure would like to see what you come up with too. I'm trying to decide tween the high dollar one and the cheeper one.

Thanks for posting

I've got one from First Place Auto Products http://www.fpap.com/ on mu 70 Road Runner. Had it for over seven years, no issues. The brackets that came with it were really nice.

It looks like those guys have not updated their website in a few years..

Gregs70 which version did you decide to go with? top O'the line or budget ?

Thank You

I just helped a buddy install one on his 71 Charger, cool thing is he used the pedestals from a Ford which is a lower profile than the Mopar ones...and does it look good...really good.

Gee Al, you're right. It does look really good......(Where the hell is my evil grin?)

You wouldn't happen to be able to get a pic? It sounds pretty cool.

I've had mine long enough that there was only one available at the time. It has black powder coated under-decklid brackets, solid pedestal mounts, lack wing that needed no paint. I guess that would be the deluxe model.

I just got one from, believe it or not,
MustangsUnlimited for 138.95 delivered.
The mounting plates are another 26.95.

I hit it with a quick coat of trim black/semi flat from a can.
I forget the brand, but it made a huge difference on my tail light bezels.

It is cheap.
I mean made in China cheap.
Plastic.

It will do, do not get me wrong.

And it does have the metal pedestals.

But fiberglass ones, of course just went of sale at a similar price

and I almost got one of these at a similar price
if you know someone that got one from them that would be cool to hear.

When all is said and done,
I spent a touch more on my spoiler than my driveway sprayed paint job
(which has a ton of runs- I am blaming the humidity but it is my first spray)
so it is not the kind of car that needs the three or five hundred perferct spoiler.

I will get one for sure next time I pop over to his place.

I bought one of those wings from Demonize666 on e bay, doing it over again, I would go with FPAP. They also list a plastic economy version that they claim looks factory without concourse markings and cheaper brackets. The problem I found with fiberglass e bay wing is that it looks way to thick, and takes a lot of prep to clean it up for paint. At the end of the day though, it is all a personal choice.
