Before I get the door panels done I wanted to find out what you guys are using, if anything at all, to line the door with to keep water off the door panels. Vapor barrier might be the correct term. Are new felts and weather strip keeping the water out by themselves? Just want to take all precautions to protect the investment. Thanks.

I used heavy clear poly you can get from the Lowes, home depots in the world.
It works really good for me.

What do you use to adhere it that lasts?

Rope calk is pretty easy to use. Or check out 3M's heavy duty drip check. It takes a while to dry so you have to tape the plastic in place, but once it's dry it's very sturdy.
