Hello group! I am in the process of gathering parts for a 1970 road runner. I need a bench seat for my car but I found a set of buckets from a 74 Sebring plus. I've searched all over and can not find a definitive answer. I know the info on the seats as far as buttons/foam/backs etc. but I can not find anything that tells me if these tracks will work. I saw someone wanting to trade a set that was in a 69 road runner project he bought but I don't know if it was a bolt in swap. These seats are 400 miles from home in Ohio so you can see why I want to be sure before making the trip. Thank you in advance!

Unless you can get a pic there is no way to know. Besides, I would expect that NO they will not just bolt in. However, as a hotrodder you should have the skills/imagination/wherewithal to MAKE them fit. Have fun. It's all about using your talents/imagination to create the car YOU want to drive. Dive in and get yer feet wet.

As far as I know the 70 is a unique set of tracks. 66-67 are different than 68-69 and 70 is different than them all. 70 is the only set that fit the 66-70 floorboards but fit the 71-74 style seat.

That holds true for bucket seats. Those tracks fit the new style buckets to the old style floor. 70 bench seat tracks are the same as 68-9.

Thank you so much for the info, I have a new floor pan and wasn't about to drill or alter holes. Then I found these seats at a very good price online, after going to the nationals and not finding any 70 tracks I was hoping they might work for me. I've done the whole modify to make work in the past, and with building the motor and installing inner fenders I was hoping to save myself some additional work lol..... thanks again!
