Hey guys I have been reading these posts for a good while now and I am still in the dark about some of the computer lingo used here. I reckon being an old fart must mean I have had a sheltered life and I can't take it any more.

So please explain to me what exactly is meant by " X2 ".

Where I live we speak redneck pretty good but some of this computer stuff evades the cob webs in my mind.

I think one of you clever guys should post a list of all these strange quotes and short phrases with their meanings so some of us not so mentally gifted fellows can catch up on current events. Well at least give us a hint.

Thanks in advance...Bill

X2 means "i second that motion " or the next person to reply is basically wanting to say the same thing that was said in previous post.

You can also google each phrase and get the answer. I do this all the time when I don't know what something means. Another old fart, not up tp speed.

Bahaha rofl lol stfu lmao omgtwf

some good gobbledygook for you :)

Okay gang that solves that dilemma for me. Thanks a truck full.

Now for the next confusing thing for me is what does " Bump " mean. I know for a fact that my Road Runner don't like those. Come to think of it I ain't real crazy about them either. Kinda rough on the suspension parts and my butt. lol

"BUMP or BMP" means putting thread to top of list such as a part being sold..

WOW !! Thanks alleyoopmgv that put new light on it for me. Next time you are in Alabama Lunch is on me.

Thanks Ron , but what purpose does that serve and I thought that was not allowed?

Well you may need to ask Alley about this one i know as a Gold member we can, I thought bumping was permitted for anyone to be honest..

Check these out, the rules, Im not telling you to become a Gold Member to "bump" ads, but its one of the perks :)

1. Ads may NOT be placed by businesses. If you are a business contact the site Admin, Joeychgo for information on becoming a vendor.
2. Have a descriptive Title. Dont just post A Body Parts in the title. Be more descriptive so the buyers know at least a little about what your selling. (Example Title: Duster Suspension Parts)
3. No Bumping of ads. No repeated posting of same ad for one week.
4. FBBO Gold Members may bump once every 3 days.
5. Please try to limit each thread to 1 part unless the parts are directly related. (ie Duster Suspension Parts)
6. eBay auctions are permitted, but please give some detail of the item as well as the eBay link. DO NOT post just the eBay item number, post the link.
7. You must Post either an Asking Price or Make offer with a BIN Price. (We prefer you post an asking price)
8. Location (Preferably City & State) MUST be in the ad
9. Please Post SOLD in the thread when the item(s) are sold. (We dont delete ads - please dont ask us to)
10. Do NOT post email addresses or phone numbers in your ad or in any response to an ad. Use the PM feature. Only FBBO Gold Members may place email and phone numbers in ads.
11. Do not argue with others in the thread.
12. Photos may help sell the part/car
