Headlight relay kits that are essentially plug and play.

There is a substantial increase in voltage at the headlight, increasing light output performance. Light output degrades exponentially with voltage input reductions. These kits also take headlight amp loads off the fragile bulkhead connector, headlight switch and amp gauge. The only headlight load flowing through the bulkhead is a minimal current required to trigger relays.

The kit includes:
Bosch/Tyco relays (no 1$ chinese relays)
Ceramic headlamp sockets
Fuses/fuse holders
12ga wire from alt to relays
12 or 14 gauge power wire from relays to headlight wiring (no 16-18 gauge wire like factory, except 16ga to trigger relays)
All terminals for hook up to a std 1/4 alt stud and ground locations
Wiring would follow normal wiring harness paths and be covered with black shrink tube for most of the run lengths.

Road lamp relay kit is not included in the standard 2 and 4 headlight kits. There is an additional charge for a road lamp relay kit.

The kits I've built have relays mounted on the yoke (front or rear), under the battery tray and inner fender uprights.

Another benefit that most users see is an improvement in dash light and marker light/turn signal brightness.

Some other things to consider.
Unless you buy wire in bulk, you'll have about $40+ before tax in different colored wire packages from a local auto store.

All kits I build are tested prior to shipping.

Kits for a 2 headlight vehicles are $135 + shipping.

Most 4 headlight vehicles are $160 + shipping.

The assembled kits fit nicely in a USPS regional boxes, shipping in the US would be in the $15-17 range. International shipping is available. Kits have been shipped to Canada, Spain, Italy, Germany, Australia, New Zealand and a few other countries. Most all shipping is done via US Postal Service unless other service is requested.

Kits with all products and wire required to build one yourself are $85 for a 2 headlight and $100 for a 4 headlight + shipping.

so is this so you can do LEDs ? so kit does not come with headlights or LED bulbs? Its just wires and relays correct. No pic of relays.Brand of relays.

I've installed one of these kits in my 'Bee and can attest to their quality.
This kit isn't intended for use with LED lights. It's designed to take the load off the factory headlight switch and bulkhead connection.
No, the kit does not include lights.
They're Bosch/Tyco relays, as stated in the description.
 
Tyco Bosch relays only.

You can use this with LED's if you wanted to do so.

Along with reducing load on the bulkhead/switch/dimmer, the kit provides a superior level of voltage to the headlights than the OEM wiring. This results in improved performance. Light performance degrades exponentially with reductions in input voltage at the lights. I've tested a few cars where voltage levels at the headlights were at 12v and under at driving RPM's. With a kit, over 13.5 in many cases. That difference can result in lower lumen output of more than 20% in some cases.
 
That kit is GREAT. After installing it in my 70 Bee the only thing I regret is that I waited so long to do it.

Appreciate the purchase and good to read it met or exceeded your expectations!

I try to make is as simple as possible so even the most frightened electrophobe has no issues with installation. I have updated a couple things and any wires the end user has to connect are power or ground, down to 4 total in most kits, 3 in others. Everything else uses plugs to simplify the process.

My instructions are very detailed as well.

They certainly are good when supplied with correct or higher voltage levels. A decent halogen bulb with good voltage puts out solid lumens and you get to keep the original looking headlights.

I just dont see how it makes your dash lights brighter,is it because load is off the system?

Correct

wiring can only carry so much load. More load, greater the voltage drop across the runs. When the headlight amps are removed from the system, that allows for less drop in the harness it was removed from. That's why the dash light get brighter, cleaner/stronger power feed to all end user items.
 
I bought this kit back in 2015 for my 68 Charger. Easy install with much brighter lights plus the satisfaction of knowing the bulk head current flow is much easier on the fusible link and less apt to cause a meltdown. Too bad the auto makers didn't make this upgrade at the factory. Could have saved a bunch of fires and other grief over the years. Thanks Rob!

Possibly. Last time I took about 10-15 kits with me and sold a whopping ZERO!!! It's very difficult to show the difference in light quality in the middle of the day. I thought about a display deal, but it would have to be a dark enclosure and I prefer to not require dragging something like that around.

If I get some orders, then yes, I will probably head over to deliver some and check things out.

Only good thing out if that was I had some inventory already for orders later...
 
I hear you.. I should have my car there ans was going to talk about what I am doing and adding a Headlight motor relay in the mix..
 
68-69 Charger?

There are limiters and things in that system IIRC. They are also driven by the headlight switch... I thought there may be a relay in the motor circuit already.
