Plug wire keeps popping out

One of my plug wires keeps popping out. The actual plug shown in the picture with the black sleeve is hard to push down the tube. The other 7 plugs have the white sleeve and fit down the tubes easily. the spark plug appears to be seated well, ie it does not appear to be cross-threaded or anything. i have not had time to switch the wires. I have not taken this valve cover off recently. appreciate any insight, this is a recent issue.

It could be that the part metal end that sits on top of the plug doesn't have enough tension to hold it on. Simply, just stick a loose plug into the end of the wire and see how it grabs it.

thank you Sir. i will try that. I will also pull the plug and see if i feel pressure coming out of the tube. will report back.
