I AM SHOPPING FOR A 68 OR 69 RR RAGTOP OR A 70 RR HARDTOP AND I SEE YOURS....VERY NICE COLOR COMBO. AS I AM NEW TO B-BODIES FORUM I AM READING ALL DIFFERENT POSTS ON HERE JUST DREAMING OF WHAT IS OUT THERE..AS I LOOK OVER AND I SEE YOU ARE IN CHELMSFORD....

From 1964 to 1971 I lived in Billerica and the entrance to the subdivision was less than 1/2 mile off Treble Cove Rd..
The first time I really saw a REAL Mopar was in the subdivision on Kazimer Dr .My oldest sister her future husband pulled up after coming back from Viet Nam in a 1969 Charger R/T Red W/ Black V/Top, Black int.< just about the same Red as your RR> it had every option I could ever think of ..What I remember he had a Black Sabbath in the 8 track, so I knew he could not be too bad..Moved to N.H. in Oct of 71 and at the time I was riding my stingray bike when I was in Billerica then after moving I turned 16 in Dec, and in N.H. you could get license at 16..If I remember right Ma was 17 learners permit and 18 you got to drive. My sister would vist and would let me drive the Charger…I could not stop thinking about Mopars…In Spring of 1973 I bought a 1970 Roadrunner w 37,000 miles for $1550 from Plymouth dealer in Rochester N.H. Gold ext , Black V/Top and Gold Buckets …Only options was the Buckets ,Auto and Factory A/C …I have never seen the same color combo since..I have never looked back again, 26 of my 41 driving years I have a 68, 69 or 1970 GTX or Roadrunner….Would love a ragtop like yours but, if I can not afford one another 70RR will be just fine..68 & 69RR Ragtops are high in cost but, 70RR Ragtops due to low numbers will never be in my price range or I would go for that.. I am selling my 69RR soon and got some pennies rolled up and I will be out shopping again soon…

Hood emblem

The exception to the 69 Plymouth hood emblem is the 440 6bbl which had no emblem on the hood.
