Plymouth fender tag

Don't want to do something illegal or underhanded. I purchased a 67 Coronet 500 (supposedly) that has a plymouth fender tag and a Dodge VIN number.
I wrote to get the correct factory documents so will be removing the Plymouth fender tag.
Should I destroy it or can someone else use it on their car?

Don’t destroy it. Do take a picture and share it so others can use it for research.

Yes, there are people with good intentions that will take possession of it to ensure it remains safe.
