Polara seats

Can anyone tell me if the bucket and rear seats in a 62 Polara are the same as a 63 or 64? Legendary, Year One and Classic Industries only go from 63 up.

Not a Polara or buckets, and it will not answer your question directly, but I called Legendary for a 62 Dart front split bench and rear. They told me other years would not fit. It looks to me as the front bench is different, the rear as well, and the pattern was wrong.

If you look at the 62 then the 63, you'll see that there is a different amount of pleats between the two. Also there is piping around the colored insert on the 63 and not in the 62.

Would the aftermarket covers work? Probably but they won't guarantee it. I've seen a couple on '62s and they either didn't fit right or the installer didn't know what they were doing.

Heres the 1962 seat. I bought the material and had an upholstery shop take patterns off the old covers. They copied every stitch almost exactly.
