poly engine

I have the chance to get a 318 poly out of a 64 dodge for 150$ and i thought about putting it in a fury but are they easy to get parts for and will a later model 727 bolt up to it?

The 150 cost is going to be the first of many costs and may not be a bargain in the end. What do you want the car to do in the end and would a poly fit your needs? Or a magnum 360 be a better choice? Or a 383 engine instead? Cost wise it is best to start at your transmission and decide what will work best for you. Expect to spend at least 5000 to replace a engine and cost go up with more options used.

What engine and transmission do you have now and what is really wrong with them?

I have a rebuilt poly with trans and all parts you need still in 65 dodge coronet can hear it run 500.00 takes motor and trans and any little parts you need to put it in your car. if interested call Jerry at 215- 943-3003, Thanks

well I have a 360 with 340 parts on it I know that's the way better option to put in the car but I was just saying in general if I wanted to buy it to do something with one day would it be a good choice

A poly is not a collectors item, offer him 50 and wait.

A 360 roller cam block is what I would be on the lookout for. If a 409 showed up or a 340-6 block I would buy just to have.

Yea leave the Poly alone, worthless engine, hope no one wants to be build one, which makes mine that much more special. I don't want anyone else to have one, go ahead and get a 360 they are so easy to get parts for...
