Poor photos of Belvedere Assemble plant

I have been delivering Kraft mac/cheese loads across from the Mopar Belvedere assembly plant for the lactcfew weeks.

While its difficult for me to park my truck and get better photos I thought a couple poor ones would be better than none.

Im just happy the jobs may be coming back in '26.

Belvedere, IL? Not sure about back in the '60's, but Omni/Horizon 's, Neon's, and Jeeps.

C bodies at one point.

I used to buy C bodies for 440’s back in the 80’s. A few were probably made there.

In 1993 my boss and I were on a trip to Rockford and we drove past and there were acres of Neons waiting to be shipped!

The plant behind those trucks is the stamping plant.

The empty lot was the home of the auto transport companies trucks.
