Plan to take in the Portland Swap meet this April. Never been there before. Looking for big items like ACC carpet, Legendery seat-covers, Spectre fuel tank, maybe rims/tires for my '69 Bee. Any big Mopar venders that might have this stuff at the meet?
Cheers

Depending on who shows up this year there should be some venders and sellers that'll have some stuff you're looking for, I've gone with my buddies for the last 23 years and have stalls at both locations (the track and the Expo). Try to get down as early as you can, open to the public on the track on Thursday and Friday at the Expo. We've found most the best stuff is sold and traded on the set up days even tho its against the rules. If you don't see what you need then ask some of the Mopar dealers and sellers there, a lot of them live close enough by that they'll bring stuff the next day for ya. There's a good guy to deal with that'll be set up at the track by the name of Steve Miles, he operates "North American Muscle Cars" out of Portland here and goes through Year one along with other companies. He most likely have bunches of used parts out to sell. Most the Mopar guys will know where he is.
I'll be mostly kicking around through-out the weekend there due to a big job I'm involved with so I won't be manning the stalls (lucky for me).
***** As a heads up, I believe there are still stalls available at the track you can purchace. I'm saying this because with your purchase (about $40-75 depending on size) you receive 2 passes that get you in from set-up day (Wed) through Sunday and you can drive your vehicle right into your spot. That gives you a great place to keep your parts you buy and a place to BBQ or rest, found these reasons alone PRICELESS. You can even camp out there in the spot overnight. Also priceless, lots of BS time with others.
As stated before, the "circus is in town" and the Expo commitee decided that the circus was just as or even more important than the swap meet so they took a bunch of space up at the expo for that. But still go through the expo, we've found a lot of hidden buys up there but that is where you will see most of the finished nice cars and new parts venders.
Prepare for a lot of walking and get there early. To really pick through and see EVERYTHING should take at least 2 days. The track alone is several miles of booths. But the most important, HAVE FUN!! Oh yea, its Western Oregon so bring an umbrella and a pair of shorts in your back pack cause you never know.
