News Flash....Tim Banning owner of "For Hemi's Only" out of Canada is putting up money for a All Hemi Shoot Out Saturday July 14th the Saturday of the Nostalgia Nationals. Also word has it that Ray Barton is not to be out done and is going to put up money and have some cars there also.
This is playing out to be one awesome weekend....Beeeee Therrrrrre!

HEMI SHOOTOUT

July 14th
Tim Banning, owner of "For Hemis Only", located in Bewdley, Ontario, Canada is posting a $3500 purse for a special Hemi Shootout to be contested on the Saturday of the Nostalgia Nationals. The race is open to all Hemi Super Stockers from 1964 to 1972. The event is shaping up to be a real hit with over 24 cars expected to join in the show.
Upwards of 12 Canadian Hemis will be on the the
Northern Border Bandits team when they invade the Beaver in July.
RULES FOR THE HEMI SHOOTOUT
1. Open to all HEMI Super Stocks and A/FX cars from 1964 to 1971
2. Engine must be based on 426 Hemi only.
3. Inductions should resemble what the car came with in the year of production. Sheet metal intakes are permitted IE. Cross Ram 64/65/68 etc.
Street inline on Street Hemi's in `E' bodies etc.
4. Altered Wheelbase Cars are permitted fuel injection.
5. 3000 pound minimum weight with driver.
6. Factory fire wall and inner fenders as much as possible.
7. Must have factory style / aftermarket dash pad and instruments.
Added accessory gauges obviously ok.
8. Any rear tire and wheel combination is legal.
9. All cars must be naturally aspirated. No NOS, blowers, alky etc.

They have half of the full 64 car field in 7.0, and one slot still open in 6.0. This is GUARANTEED money guys! If anyone can make the trip down, the shot is VERY good for a $10,000 payday! The money is still going to be guaranteed in 7.0 even if the field isn't full, so if you can run that class, your chances are even better!!! So come on down to TN for the weekend!!
