1970 coronet 500 for trade
i have been in the process of piecing together a 1970 coronet 500 with the intentions of upgrading it with all the super bee trimming. As this is my first restoration i am seeing how costly it is as well as how much work to do it right. so i decided to see what a trade might get me. i am looking for a 1969 or 1970 b-body that are ready to drive.
i can provide pictures but here are the details of my car:
- body is finished in grey primer and ready for paint.
- windshield and rear window are out of car awaiting paint
- all chrome is there but awaiting paint
- all windows are in place but could use a little work on the hardware to make show condition
- front and back seats are black and in very good condition. the only tear in any of them is one seam tear in the front drivers side seat (bucket seats)
- freshly re-chromed left bumper, rear bumper and front bumperetts
- car is an automatic with a recently rebuilt 440. the car has been sitting during body work and part acquisition for the last 2.5 years so it needs a little tuning to run.
- i put on a holley 650 duble pumper to replace the 750 double pumper that was on the car (it was running to rich) both come with car
- i have the 2 front grills and all headlight assemblies
- i have the super bee tail finish panel (in good condition)
- i have a set of Billet Specialties with bf good rich tires (wide tires for the rear)
- it has a regular coronet hood with a non-stock hood scoop. looks like David Freiburger's
- i have put thousands in to getting parts and paid thousands for the body with the engine.
- i have many other parts, nuts, bolts, tail-lights, extra set of wheels (for paint), extra set of front bumper brackets, all light housings, extra power steering pump, new wiper motor, extra fan motor, new fuel pressure regulator...and more
like i said...i don't expect to make all the money back i put into getting it all together, but if someone can make me an offer for a nice driver i would consider it. i dont want the car for a show...i just want to drive it around until i win lotto and can then have the car done up nicely.
thanks and pictures are available upon request...just send me a pm with your e-mail ..thanks
