1969 Charger, After replacing my power booster...with correct number and master cylinder, My brake pedal is no where near the brake switch, I think somwhere along the line something has been changed... can somebody post some pictures of there Power brake pedal assembly under the dash! PLEASE....MIKE 623-810-0128

Check your shaft or rod length. The one between the master cylinder and booster and the length of the link from your booster to your brake pedal. Make sure you compare these with your old ones...

The booster that was on the car...was wrong the rear plunger was to long and it was hitting the brake pedal when the master cylinder was on, So i replaced booster with a cardone 5473501 ..everything seems right, except the Rod that bolts to the brake pedal seems too short...the pedal is a bit low and not touching the Brake light switch... i was hoping i could get a picture of the original rod on a power brake car.....ROD THAT BOLTS TO BRAKE PEDAL TO PIVOT ASSEMBLY.

Also is there a spring thats supposed to be on a 69 To Hold the brake pedal up ? Is the brake light switch supposed to just barly touch the switch? Mike

Adjust the brake light switch to the pedal. Drum or disc that rod didn't change from 64 to 79. In all A,B,C,E and J body cars.

If you loosen the 2 bolts holding the switch bracket, it should have a slide adjustment.
