On my 67 Coronet 500 the PS gear box is leaking out of the top, I think its called the Power Train Assembly. It's where a nut is loosened and then you make an adjustment by then turning a screw. My question is before I take it out, is it possible the O ring is the only part that might be in need of changing? By reading the SM it looks like rebuilding the whole thing is beyond my expertise.

Wow!

Bump for an answer to MightyMopar's question. I have exactly the same problem. On the top of the power steering box is a "dome" shaped cover with a well around it. On top of the dome is a protruding bolt with an adjusting nut on it.

Mine leaks so badly that a pool of fresh fluid forms between the well around the dome. Is there a seal under the dome? It looks like one cast piece. Service manual doesnt show anything.

Help would be greatly appreciated.
