Question: is it cheaper to have the steering box rebuilt, or look for a replacement. I have a leak, I thought it was the pump, but now I think it may be the steering box. I have been using stop leak which seems to have slowed it down, but not stopped. Looking for ideas?

Is the steering box good except for the leaks? Not that hard to install new seals. There's only 2....one on the input shaft and one on the output shaft...and you can do it in the car.

The box appears to be in good shape, now it is possible the "o" rings on the lines maybe split, won't know until I remove them, anyway won't have time until I come back from Calisle next week., I will check my manual to see if it shows the seals, thanks
