Any if you guys replace a steering pump on a B body in the last several years ? Mine leaks horribly. At this point, until my garage is finished. I haven’t deciphered exactly where. It has new hoses, I also realize the seal around that shaft could be a likely culprit. Im wondering if I should go with a reman or rebuild my own ? These things are usually an easy task, but I have no idea how it comes apart ? Power steering works great. But, it’s leaking all over my driveway and I’m refilling it about every other little ride.

You have to determine first what's leaking....Is it the pump or is it the gearbox...

Pumps are easy to rebuild as long as you have the tools and a service manual. Furthermore, you have to ensure you have the correct rebuild kit to.....

If not you can always send it to these guys...They are the best IMHO

I bought my pump from a parts store. The pulley was not included (press-on type). It seems to work just fine. For an upgrade, I hear really good things about Firm Feel like moparnation mentioned.

Definitely verify where it's leaking. They like to leak around the valve block on top of the steering box(the piece that the hoses connect to)
