I'm cleaning resealing and painting the pump today. I worked on Chrysler products in the seventies and removing the old seal was a chore in its self. Use an eighth inch bit and quarter-inch self tap screws. Drill two opposing holes in the metal part of the seal. Threading the screws in the seal must be done carefully so as not to strip the holes out. You're going to walk the seal out of its position. It's took three trys before the seal came out.
