Hi guys first off I am new to the board, so hello. I have always like mopars but havent nad the chance to own many. In the past Ive had a 73 charger and a 71 duster, so my inexperience with them is showing . This same question on a gm car and I wold know thw answer right away.....
I just bought a 1973 roadrunner 360 4 speed wo power steering and air conditioning. I would like to add at least power steering, are the dimentions in ot the gearbox different, will the column or column shaft need to be switched? how about the pitman arm? obviusly I will ned a pump and hoses, are the bracket for the small and big blocks different? Are there different gear ratios in the boxes? Its a shame that even here in chicago you cant go the the local autoparts store and get this info anymore.... but thats a who;e other story. finalt does anyone here have these parts for sale? iI did find some on ebay put the braket set and pulley will be tough. any recomondations on a place to get them
Thanks a bunch jim

YES.........the gearbox dimissions are certainly different and YES the column length is different as well. Almost everything is different with this change but, its certainly not rocket science and an easy thing to do. I would call Firm Feel in Vancouver, Wa. about the switch to power steering. They have vast knowledge and experience with steering and suspensions on b-bodies. They can help you find parts and sometimes they have them sitting around. Good Luck!
