Just purchased a 70 RR Convertible. Would like to replace the manual windows with power windows. Any info that I can get would be greatly appreciated.
New/restored kits: (did fine NuRelic..has anyone used their products?)
Used parts: Which power windows from other Mopar's will fit? Assume 70 Coronets will work but not sure....
Are the rear regulators from a hardtop/sedan the same as the convertibles?
Switches & harness are not a problem...those are available new....
Sorry for all the questions just want to learn as much as I can about my options.

The power windows on my GTX are nothing but a pain. I wish the car had manual windows. I just spent $500. to replace the 4 button master switch and one single button swich. I'm still looking at replacing at least one motor, and if the relay ever goes well the only one I've found on line the guy wants $400 for. My advice?? Leave it alone.

The door regulators are the same for hardtops and convertibles but the quarter window regulators are different btween the two. That said, the p/w regulators are different as well, which means finding quarter window, convertible, power regulators is a tough haul. Last set I saw on eBay was at $600/pr for the qtr. windows only. Stuff ain't cheap. But on the bright side, '69 and up switches are easy to find and a couple of bosch relays can be used in place of the factory piece.

birdible cool.jpgnurelic is your only bet for the rear one and they work well
the new aftermarket front and rear set ups are way better then the old factory set
up , more reliable and made to work much better .. Power windows are a must in a convertible for sure ,

A1electric for the front doors. Includes regulator. Working good for about 7 years in the 69 Coronet.
