Time for a new shifter. I’m going with the PPP. Can anyone who has one of these tell me what’s best for my build, front or rear entry and correct cable length to order? 66 Belvedere, I’m replacing an old B&M. My 727 has a Griner reverse valve body with a brake. Any input would be appreciated.

Plum, just put one in my 64 bel with the 67 k-member. I managed to get the cable wrapped on top of the trans so that it doesn't touch anything hot(tti 2" headers) I only had one tiny issue with mine, the handle was a little rough, but a piece of emry cloth took care of that in short order. you will like the shifter, works as it should, crisp and sure. Dave.

Thanks Dave, what size cable did you order and did you get the front or rear entry?

In my opinion the PPG shifter is by far the best shifter there is.
Call the company and they will recommend what all you need.
If I were to buy a new shifter, it would only be a PPG.

Plum, I used a 60" cable, w/ a front entry. My car was a four speed from the factory, I built a bracket to mount it on to set it almost beside the seat, makes it very comfortable. Dave.

Dave, wish I had bought a PPG shifter. However, I have a Turbo Action Cheetah in my GTX with a 60 inch cable and rear entry which keeps the cable away from headers. Wish I had a dollar for every Morse type cable I've replaced in the past 40 years.:moparsmiley:

Ordered my PPP shifter today. Spoke with them on the phone went through all the options, great customer service. Going to take a few weeks to get it, they are swamped. I’ll post some pics when I get it installed. Anyone that’s running the PPP can you post a pic of your interior, thinking about making a mount for it. Thanks

I have one in my Challenger. I like the slim profile of it. Mine is front entry for a reverse manual vb.
