Proportionvalve

I have bought a Hurst inline brake switch. When installing this I should probably also uppdate my proportionvalve. I have disc in front and drum in the rear. At the moment I have what I think is a Kelsey Hayes iron combination valve? I want to replace it with a adjustable type. What do you recommend?Do i need a metering valve for the discs? Do i need a 10 lb residual valve for the drums?

Aren’t metering valve and prop valve the same thing? I have a wilwood prop valve and moroso line lock

Well....I have been reading on the internet, but I am not sure if I got it right.
My thinking is to buy a wilwood prop valve and hook front discs up with my Hurst linelock and put a residual valve in the rear to make the pedal nice and firm, since I got drums in the rear. I have seen instructions saying I also need a metering valve in the front to make rear brake activate first.????
 

Ha ha ha, the guy is great, but he doesn´t completely answer my question. Wilwood propvalve can reduce pressure on my rear drums, but does it also have the metering function for my front discs? And would a residual valve in the rear keep the brakebands closer to the drum, making my brakes more firm?

According to that video you would need the metering valve. I have 4 wheel disc though

I'm not sure how the wildwood valve works but your mastercylinder should have the residual valve. There's an orifice inside where the line attaches.

The timing of the MC's piston almost eliminates even having to use a valve. A lot of people don't even use one. They have disc up front, drums out back, install an adjustable valve and end up with it adjusted all the way out. Wasn't even needed.

You call Ram Man and ask. He'll tell you what you need.

Ok, I think you have saved me some money. I will keep my original propvalve for now and only install my linelock in the front.
Maybe I will save some money and buy discs in the rear aswell. Thanks for your help.
