I have a 69 satellite I'm wanting to buy prostars for but I'm not sure what size tires and wheels to get. I'm thinking a I'm gonna go 10" wheel in back with like a 4.5 to 5" back space with a 295x50x15. I'm wanting a narrower wheel in the front probably around 6" or 7". Just curious what everybody is running on there cars. If any would could help I would appreciate it .

I used to have centreline 15 x 10 with 5" BS rears and 15 x 8 with 4.5" BS fronts with 295 50 15 rears and 245 60 15 fronts and it looked mean and didn't rub anywhere on my 68

the Percy's tire fitment tool for $70 is well worth the price, you can get the most tire wheel combo in the wells... 5"-5.5" back space will usually work well with 9.5"-10" {I think even on 11" wheels, but don't quote me on that, it's been a "long time ago", now} wheel widths on the rear anyway... in a 68-70 B-body, they have big wheel wells & even more tire & wheel, if the springs are moved inboard, get rid of half the outer lip... The tire going up into the well, be careful it gets much narrower towards the top too {especially on the outer sides, it tappers inward}, so your actual ride height will dictate allot too... good luck, either way
