After watching a video of a traffic accident, where the car was on fire and the drivers side was about a foot away from a guard rail, I am reminded of why the military services hand out Gerber seatbelt slicer/ door glass breaker tools to those on the way into combat zones. Mine is in my car, drivers door pocket. They come with a sheath that you can place on your belt or wherever. About 5" long by 3" wide and thin. If the people in the video had had one they would have gotten the driver out much sooner rather than at the final second before the car was completely engulfed in flames.
So, the message here is for everyone who reads this to immediately google Gerber rescue tools/ military seatbelt cutter/glass breakers and buy one for $20 bucks for each of your cars and put them in the door pockets.
Don't procrastinate, do it today, you might need it tomorrow.
Save a life, maybe your own.
Ghost.
