Would anyone know my water pump pulley lines up great with the power steering pump pulley not the alternator pulley. Fan/alt belt fit perfectly around the power pump pulley.which is the right side.wrong side it should fit on.fan/alt belt is big around fan/alt side which it should go that side but it doesnt.not the powersteering side. It's reverse on my 383 do have the wrong water pump pulley or crank pulley?

Your w/p pulley should be 2 3/4 inches deep. How deep is ur crank pulley? Kim

Not sure I'll have to measure. I know the crank pulley came off a 1971 383

Crank should be right. But maybe not. Does the alternator line up with the inside groove? Kim

Yah l think it does of crank pulley or water pump pulley?

The inside groove will run the alt and w/p. The outer pulley is for the p/s. Kim

Some crank pulleys had 6 equally spaced holes, while some had 1 of the 6 offset, so the pulley could only go on one way. Not sure which years got which. I have a set of pulleys, if you are still looking.

It does have six holes

Here are pulleys I have. Big blocks were red in Canada through 1966. Water pump pulley came off 1966 383 that I parted out. $40.00 for the pair, plus $20.00 shipping. PM me if interested.
