68 Coronet. What is the disassembly order/procedure to pull the rear suspension and axle with the least effort?

get er supported on some GOOD stands, drop the drive shaft, disconnect e brake "stuff", brake lines, and finish er off with the front spring bolts and rear spring shackles...might want to have a jack under the axle before the last step

Is it easier to drop the rear shackles before the front bolts? If leave the wheels on can I drop the rear shackles and disconnect the shocks and drop the assembly down to the tires then pull the bolts and roll it out?

Err, forgot about the shocks, that comes somewhere before step 5,

I'd pull the shock lower nuts before spring bolts....maybe that just me..

I leave my tires on and the roll it out...gotta be high enough though in step one...

I'm not sure if I have a preference to remove front or rear spring attachments first...may not matter much

I like to remove the rear hangers before removing the fronts.....and I use a floor jack to position the rear up or down as needed to help get the rear hangers out. It seems to be easier doing it in that order and I've done quite a few over the years. Used to part out Mopars in the mid 70's.
