push button and toggle switch install help

Done this years ago and i remember it being easy, and yet i cant for the life of me remember how to do it. basically i have a bad ignition switch or ICM and I had wanted to run a push button to start the car anyway so i figured this is a good time to do it. i have no clue where to begin and feel stupid asking this question. do i run a wire from one side of the push button to the POS side of the starter, and the other wire from the other side of the push button to the negative bat terminal??? as far as running all my acc power on a toggle switch i have no idea where to begin...PLEASE HELP!!! Finally got gas in the car to start for the first time and this bs happened!! ARG!!!! THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

Every wire you need is right there at the steering column plug but why have you checked with a test light yet at the ballast to see if it has power there and at ign box with the key on . you would just be making the car easier to steal hooking it up like that ,

Push button circuit. From the battery to the starter relay , stud where the yellow wire is currenly. It will stiil require the wire down to the neutral saftey switch. Other wise it still wont crank. You can ground the neutral saftey switch wire, it will crank in any gear, not safe.
The toggle switch will feed from the battery (or a battery feed in the car) to the blue wire at he ballast resistor.
