I was told by my uncle that my quarter panel indicators are in upside down. I explained to him that the lettering is right side up so and he must be wrong. He insists that they are not in correctly. Now, it does appear to look off, but I think it might the housings are on the wrong side and that is why the indicators look upside down. Can anyone help me on this one?

yea, somethings not right...the top of lens sticks out way too far

yep top part of lens should be recessed its easy to get these in wrong way. by the way Im looking for one of these as one of mine was accedentlly damaged by my painter, any body got any extras for a 1969 plymouth or dodge? thanks much CD /DD

Yea, It looks like the lens is in correctly (letters up) ,but the housing is installed upside down. Not necessarily on the wrong side but just upside down. I'd try that. I also think that the housings are a little different between the front and back of the car. I'm not 100% sure on that , but it seems like somewhere deep in the recesses of my mind I thought there was a difference.LOL

Maybe take the lens and housing out, fit the lens into the housing , and THEN fit the housing to the body.

I just read that and it sounds kinda smart-aleck-y...didn't mean it to. But I don't think having the lettering right-side-up is necessarily an indicator of right-side-up...know what I mean. It IS Mopar, after all.

Doesn't need to be said, but I'll say it anyway, use some masking tape and be very careful. Your black paint looks freakin' beautiful.

Thanks everyone. I will have to mess with it since everyone seems to agree that they are in incorrectly. The stripe is a from Phoenix Graphics and it was a bitch for the body man to put on correctly.
